30 under 30 Women In Business
GEM HUNT Series – 2, tagged “30 under 30 Women in Business”, held on 3rd October 2023. The creative journey and expected outcomes of GEM HUNT Series – 2 were built around identifying and facilitating growth of Micro, Small, and Medium businesses, specifically amongst women under 30 in Nigeria. Series – 2 was targeted at showcasing, and drawing required attention to the targeted demographic, identifying their unique challenges, and creating a platform where they will benefit from financial grants, technical support (training and capacity building), mentoring, and coaching by established successful entrepreneurs, as well as periodic impact assessments.
At the event, a group of vibrant and successful female entrepreneurs participated in a roundtable discussion centered on navigating the entrepreneurial space while cultivating robust business networks among women. Furthermore, we recognized the impactful contributions made by emerging female entrepreneurs and trailblazers who not only reached remarkable milestones in their fields but also actively fostered the growth of women within their respective spheres.
The State rounds of the GEM HUNT Series – 2 competition were held in all 36 States of the Federation, while the Zonal rounds took place in 6 selected States (Lagos, Kano, Bauchi, Enugu, Akwa Ibom, and Abuja- FCT), leading up to the Grand Finale in Abuja, FCT.
